Supporting initiatives and promoting partnerships
that enable Ashtabula County schools to achieve excellence.
Our Goals
- All partnering Ashtabula County districts/schools will be rated
as “Excellent” on the Local Report Card generated
by the Ohio Department of Education.
- PEAC will operate as an effective, efficient organization.
Our Plan of Action
- Strengthen educational achievement and support authentic commitment
to school improvement
- Increase educational expectations for ALL children
- Create new paradigms for “growing” the community
- Develop new avenues for civic engagement
- PEAC will assist districts, schools and communities to develop
quality public engagement processes and to renew a sense of public
ownership in our public schools
- Develop strategic partnerships with education, business/industry,
political, and community leaders in order to build community capacity
for change
- Seek long-term funding to initiate and continue support for
qualified organizations, as well as the operational budget
